Messaging Terms

These Messaging Terms describe the text messaging (SMS and MMS) program offered through InviterVideo, operated by Parakletos Solutions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) on behalf of the churches that use the Service. They work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

What messages you receive

When you opt in, you may receive text messages from a church that uses InviterVideo, such as invitations, service and event reminders, follow-ups after a visit, and occasional updates from that church.

How you opt in

You provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from a specific church. This usually happens in one of these ways:

You give your number on a church connect card, sign-up form, or RSVP that includes a clear notice that you agree to receive text messages.
You give your number directly to the church and ask to be added to its messages.

We keep a record of your consent, including when and how you gave it. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies by church and by season. You will only receive messages from the church you opted in to.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. We do not charge you to receive these messages.

Opt out and help

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message from that church, and we will stop sending you texts. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact the church directly to be removed.

Your privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in and consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the messaging carriers and service providers strictly necessary to deliver your messages. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change and are not guaranteed.

Changes

We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time and will note the new effective date above.
